belize

for christmas vacation, we decided to go to belize and guatemala. we found tickets for super cheap, and had a blast! we were really worried about getting our passports in time, but for some reason they came really quickly.

we spent two days in belize, went to guatemala for four days, then went back to belize for the rest of our trip.
















in belize, we spent our time snorkeling, laying on the beach, walking around, and traveling. we stayed on caye (pronounced key) caulker every night we were in belize. caye calker is so much fun. everyone is very relaxed (perhaps because of the high amount of marijuanna intake). one of cameron's favorite things about caye calker was the food. we ate lobster twice, barracuda, and grouper. the reason we ate so much seafood was beacuse it was so cheap. because we were on an island, fresh seafood was brought in every night and was sold cheaply. we ate lobster dinner (whole lobster, salad, potatoes, and dessert) for $12.50. crazy! we had never eaten lobster before (because it usually costs 5 times that much) and we loved it!
